About Jana Ogunbanjo

I have always looked to challenge myself even from a young age. I showed this when I decided to leave the convenience and comfort of home and family to seek out new opportunity in the UK. Looking through my work experience, it is easy to see this trait that I have described above. I have excelled in all my previous roles which is also evident from my endorsements.I work as a project manager within the renewable energy sector for a small to medium sized solar PV and EV charging installer. The industry is fast paced and dynamic which provides my with the challenge and motivation I need to keep me engaged. I am driven and result-focused which is evident from my monthly project delivery schedule.Working within a project team with many moving parts and dependencies means that I have to call on skills that allow me to contribute towards project delivery by helping other cross functions to perform their roles efficiently and effectively. Amongst these skills is the flexibility to work with a diverse pool of professionals and the ability to adapt. This also means I am a strong communicator which enables me to effectively deliver projects due to my ability to liaise with clients, suppliers and the installation teams. Organisation and time management are also key skills which I possess due to the sensitivity of time dependent activities on project delivery dates. This include ensuring that the appropriate permits are obtained from the local DNOs to ensure that the commissioning of PV systems is not delayed especially for commercial projects. I aim to keep on building myself through experience and learning to enable myself deliver even more successfully on projects ensuring that they are done to time and budget. I also aim to contribute towards achieving the teams operational and strategic objectives of sustained growth while making the world a greener place.
