Stations from the past...• Studies of Biomedical Engineering - learned to connect biomedical sciences and engineering and to speak both languages - focussed on biophysics with projects in guided cell migration and biosensors • Doctoral studies of Mechanobiology - dived deep into mechanical stimulation of 3D-skin cultures, into skin pathologies and cytoskeleton-driven tissue forces - worked in a highly interdisciplinary field with many collaborations, which sparked my love for effective and engaging science communication• Apart from that - co-organised a crowd- and sponsor funded award for young scientists rewarding translational projects - wrote articles and journal clubs for german magazine "Labor Journal" ...that contributed to my "now"• like to use both my hands and mind to realise projects• curious, versatile and dedicated person• open-minded, genuine and supportive team-player• love to move surrounded by nature• eager to gain new knowledge and experiment with new crafts• equally happy to share my own experience
