Assists the Executive Director in facilitation and coordination of general office operations including but not limited to: management, motivation, and encouragement of staff; planning, implementation, and assessment of Fairfax Bar Association (FBA) goals and objectives; achieving revenue, cost, and profitability targets; and research and implementation of policy issues.Plans and coordinates all aspects of the Bench Bar Dinner Dance, the largest social event in the Northern Virginia legal community, including but not limited to: marketing plans, budget, contract negotiations, site visitation and selection, solicitation of sponsors, and registration.Plans and administers the major annual and semi-annual FBA and Fairfax Law Foundation (FLF) events, including but not limited to: Luncheons, Portrait Presentations, Judicial Investitures, Annual Spring & Fall Golf Tournaments, the President’s Volunteer Reception, and the FLF Golden Gavel Awards.Assists with the development of professional and educational membership programs, strategic marketing, and membership recruitment and retention programs.Coordinates multiple annual and ongoing fundraising campaigns for the FLF.Coordinates all administrative aspects of Fairfax County Judicial Screening, as well as elections held by the FBA.Prepares monthly financial records for bookkeeper, including credit card and remote deposit reconciliations, and prepares payroll reports for bookkeeper while ensuring that employee work hours and leave are entered correctly. Works with the Executive Director and Budget Committee to create annual operating budgets of approximately $1 million.Maintains a professional relationship with members of the Northern Virginia Delegation, the Bench, members of the Bar, and Courthouse Staff. Responds to inquiries to the above listed, as well as members of the general public.

Supervised and coordinated the FBA’s Continuing Legal Education Program. Coordinated with Virginia State Bar, speakers, and vendors to organize approximately 20 educational seminars annually. Organized all aspects of the annual FBA Convention, including but not limited to: marketing plans, budget, schedule, solicitation of sponsors, and registration.Planned and provided support for other FBA and FLF events including the FLF Run for Justice 5K, Golf Tournaments, Newly Admitted Attorney's Orientation, and Support Staff Orientation.

Planned and managed meetings and events, including luncheons and summits. Managed accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, and bookkeeping. Also managed and updated the membership database and website.

Managed financial assistance and accounts receivable practices and developed official policies and procedures. Oversaw the program registration function of the agency, which included the direct supervision of one full-time employee and several part-time employees. Worked closely with the membership department to market various programs and to sell memberships.
