The Marketing Conference is a marketing event for students at Erasmus University. The day consists of presentations, workshops and a career fair, aimed at students who have a passion for marketing. Approximately 150 students attended the event. Within the committee, as an external relations coordinator, I was responsible for the acquisition of participating companies. Tasks associated with this function included cold calling and maintaining positive business relations between the participating companies and Marketing Association EUR.

SiS.PR is a Rotterdam-based PR agency. Clients vary from charities to well-known Dutch brands, such as Albert Heijn to go and MORA. I supported colleagues with daily activities and worked on independent projects for different clients. My activities during this internship included managing social media, writing and sending out press releases, cold calling press and creating PR packages.

International Students Rotterdam is a student association aimed at making Rotterdam feel like home for international students. The association does this by organizing several events per month, both social and academic events. This way, international students get more familiar with Rotterdam and everything the city has to offer. My responsibilies as an external events manager were to organize social events for association members and non-members. This included the promotion (on- and offline) of said event.
