Responsible for overall operation of a 10.7 million square foot, 41building office and industrial portfolio including asset management, supervision of personnel, communication, and client relations functions. Major responsibilities include:  Support Business Unit Head in meeting goals and objectives of unit including occupancy, development, disposition/acquisition, capital expense and NOI monitoring. Assist Business Unit with evaluation of potential transactions through review and analysis of economic impact on Business Unit performance. Coordinate and implement asset plans for each property and lead effort to implement recommendations identified. Maximize recoverable income for each asset; coordinate market comparison and analysis regarding operating expenses and Duke Realty’s competitive position. Supervise maintenance operations to facilitate preparation and execution of five-year capital plan and expense projects. Review and coordinate annual budget preparation process.  Lead person in the Cincinnati Business Unit for disposition coordination and analysis.  Manage three property managers and one administrative assistant including goal setting, review of property performance, morale, professional development, and community involvement. Customer interaction functions include: development of tenant outreach program, implementation of tenant survey process and action plan development and execution, and implementation of process to maintain occupied and vacant spaces.  Develop and maintain relationships with outside owners including direct management of their properties. Led team to Property Management Office of the Year award among Duke Realty markets. Former Chair, Duke Realty’s National Diversity Council Chaired Tenant Satisfaction Survey Committee Chosen Associate of the Quarter in 2014 for living Duke Realty’s Respectful value

Held responsibility for management of a 7.2 million square foot, 64 building office and industrial portfolio in Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Northern Kentucky.  Direct accountability for leasing of portfolio and value creation for institutional clients, as well as all facets of building management including capital projects, budgets, tenant relations, and reporting.  Directed activities of outside brokers assigned to properties.  Managed in-house leasing/property managers, administrative assistants, and operations managers.

Held responsibility for management of a 4.5 million square foot, 29 building industrial portfolio located in Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Northern Kentucky.  Oversaw all facets of building maintenance including capital projects.  Worked with new and renewing tenants from analysis of leasing issues through preparation and review of lease documents to tenant move-ins.  Developed operating and capital budgets for each property and maximized NOI.

 Oversaw day-to-day management including operating budgets, owner reporting and leasing of building office/warehouse and retail portfolio.  Managed construction of tenant improvement projects including estimating job costs, taking and analyzing subcontractor bids, setting schedules and overseeing construction process.  Developed and carried out marketing and promotions program for retail center, including sales, community and entertainment events.  Prepared proposals for new business.  Supervised four managers with their own portfolios.
