I am working with circular construction in the public sector. Some of my main tasks are:- Analysis of actors involved. What are their needs and experiences in sustainable constructions? - Development of a model that helps to secure the sustainable thoughts and experiences i everyday work. - Development of competency-building courses for municipality employees in the building sector (Northern Jylland)- Resource-screening of buildings that needs renovation and demolishing projects: What process does this include? Where and how to store reusable building materials? And how to include these in the next project?- Development of an action plan internally for the team, including initiating follow-up actions- Reduction of commercial waste on construction sites- Communication of initiatives externally and internally including analyzing, why they were successful or not.

- Research on sustainable alternatives to traditional materials in street and building construction projects. This was partly undertaken for EU-projects my collegues were working on. - Facilitation of internal workshops on circular economy, communication with conrtactors and citizens, work with the Sustainable Development Goals and sustainable construction sides.- Development of "Sustainability-Database" for the team with definitions of the most used terms and certifications in the construction sector, tools and inspiration for the future.- Participation in the EU-project 'Green Mobility': case development, participation in partnership meetings- Introduction of tools for green procurement

At Det Grønne Rejsehold I participate in intensive lectures on: - sustainability, Sustainable Developments Goals- circular economy- circular/sustainable business models- environmental certificationsAfterwards, I together with other praticipants, went out to regional companies and support them on their road to become more sustainable. Hereby, we work on specific problems and try to come up with individual solutions for the companies. The way of achieving this, is via the broad educational background of us participants, which we will combine in order to come up with a innovative solution.I was part of a team in Hjørring Kommune, where we supported the employees in the department of Teknik&Miljø in developing tools for analysing the sustainability of materials and designs for the municipalities streets.
