Hand picked to perform internal bureau investigations regarding violations of policy by staff members. I advocated for employees whenever possible. I was responsible for generating all required documents regarding the investigations including taking statements from the accused employee(s) and corresponding witnesses. Once the investigation was completed, I then presented the case to the Administrative Disciplinary Committee which is comprised of at least four majors and one chief.

Directly supervised more than 20 detention officers while overseeing the everyday running and operation of one or more housing floors in the 701 Housing Division of the Justice Housing Bureau on the night watch.

Office Of Inspector General

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, and Majors. Currently assigned to the Office of Inspector General as an investigator in Use of Force Review of the Internal Affairs Division.

Inmate Processing Center - Releasing

Train employees new to IPC in all of the processes involved in Releasing inmates from jail.

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Sergeants, Lieutenants, and Captains. Observes and monitors incoming prisoners and jail inmates, and detects and deters improper or unacceptable behavior. Controls and directs inmates while being processed into or released from the jail. Performs searches of individuals to locate weapons or contraband. Processes incoming and/or outgoing prisoners. Performs quality control checks on paperwork before final release of prisoners. Prepares paperwork on the releasing desk. Performs other duties and activities as directed.Currently assigned to the Inmate Processing Center.

Communicate with drivers on the road, by phone or two-way radio. Answer drivers' questions and solve problems. Communicate with administrators and parents by phone and in person. Maintain professionalism and calm demeanor. Operate an 84-passenger school bus on a split shift in a safe and on time manner.

Operate electronic monitoring and related equipment to detect electronic emissions: Conduct continuous search and monitoring of assigned portions of radio frequency spectrum, using special search or monitoring equipment. Determine accurately and rapidly parameters, directional bearing, and point of origin of electronic data recorded on photographic film and magnetic tape through operation of technical laboratory analysis equipment.
