    Program Description: Modernize ETL (PowerCenter On-prem to IICS Informatica cloud version & Talend conversion), Migrate to Cloud 11K+ ETL jobflows, 3.5PB data, 150K tables, and the platform from Teradata (TD) to GCP BQ. The client wanted to cut the higher licence cost of TD and improve scalability, availability, and data processing power.I owned the end-to-end planning of timelines based on job dependencies and vendor commitments. I also defined the Roadmap, Strategy, and prioritization of deliverables, including the re-org of teams and reporting structure. Even though there were multi-vendor, multi-contract challenges, along with Covid, Attrition, and WFH issues, I managed to keep the show in complete control. With a peak team size of 350+, I ran 14 different teams in parallel without losing sight of each team's and vendor's targets.Did spectacular Stakeholder engagement and stringent Governance, aligned synergies and formulated processes to maximize delivery.Result: I successfully completed the program within 20 months. Google acknowledged that – "This is THE FIRST migration program on such a large scale." Mphasis rewarded my end-to-end ownership & perseverance with a Promotion, "Exceeds Expectation" rating, & "Pinnacle Award."

    Problem Description: To have consistent, centralized Governance and standardized reporting across all 34 Fixed-price projects. Also, develop a featured, automated dashboard that would flash the health of all projects across 7 key parameters and Risks at the account level.I ideated consistent templates to capture the key 20 parameters across all projects. I also ideated the design & led the development of a fully automated dashboard for centralized reporting, Governance, and risk management across the account. Result: Successfully delivered a fully automated dashboard, flashing the RAG for key parameters across all FP projects. This helped prioritize top Risks at the account level. Review time of all LOBs by senior leadership was reduced by 85% from 40 hours to 6 hours per week.

The client wanted to avoid the higher licence cost of Ab initio and simplify system maintenance. I drove the end-to-end planning of the delivery at the granular level, identifying the interdependencies & lineages. I also defined the processes, roadmaps, right-sizing & scaling of teams to enable maximum productivity and fewer handovers.Resources with Java-Spark skillset & view of Ab initio was a major challenge, as both technologies are too distinct. However, with transparent & frequent comms with customers, strategic planning & robust Governance, I took a completely different route of execution and held to the costs, margins, and timelines.Result: I successfully achieved the objectives of the program. There was huge appreciation from customers, and an uplift in customer confidence resulted in new projects being awarded.

    Program Description: Application Modernization & Migration from legacy to new policy administration system. The system had 1.2 million active insurance policies. This was a very critical program, highly Risky with regulatory bindings of timelines. I led the program from the initial four months of the POC phase and business requirements gathering to proposing a strategic roadmap for the phased migration of active policies over 12 months. I looked after multiple functions and systems to ensure downstream and upstream data feeds were mapped, transformed, and rerouted. It was a completely different revenue model, with ZCT (Zero Cost Transformation). However, with meticulous planning, effective scope management, vigilant monitoring, and untethered governance, I could defend the margins, scope creep & timelines.Result: I could complete the program within the regulated timelines despite the severe odds. Also, I decreased redundancy by 12%, saved 340 PDs of effort, and Optimized 3rd party engagements to reduce rework and align to test cycles.
