Global diesel engines technical support for John Deere engines applied to John Deere machines (agriculture, construction, forestry) and industrial applications (marine, generation set, ag specialty & irrigation and industrial).

The roles from JR test engineer were kept and added the following:Liaison on new product projects representing the product validation and verification team to the board team;Add the responsibility of electrical department for the components and machines development test plans;Add the responsibility for electrical systems for routing quality assessments for C&F machines during a development evolution and/ or current production.Plan and perform fuel consumption and productivity for competitors against John Deere machines;

Develop components and machines test plans for backhoes, loaders, crawlers, excavators and motor grades (C&F division) focusing on hydraulics, drivetrain, diesel engines and cooler systems. The tests can be performed by John Deere or a third part facility;Support the cost reduction projects and field failures investigation process;Elaborate instrumentation plan for C&F division to perform machine level tests using eDaqs, DevX, WinCAN, DATAQ and Vehicle Spy software’s;Execution of tests on field to simulate severe real applications for different types of machines and sub-systems; Post-analysis of the data collected to in order to bring useful results about the systems and give a final assessment about the improvement proposal, new product or the failure investigation. The platforms used are nCode Ghyphswork, nCode Viewer and Excel.Homologation (LCVM and CAT) for all machines producted and imported by John Deere close to CETESB, IBAMA and DENATRAN;Continuous visits to machines that are exposed to real applications supporting technically and properly documenting the events found on field.Periodic strategic and knowledge meetings with John Deere Dubuque, Deere-Hitachi Brazil, Deere-Hitachi Kernersville and John Deere Power Systems to align the strategy, tests and delivery dates for the projects.Perform and present routing quality assessments for hydraulic systems for C&F machines during a development evolution and/ or current production.

Responsible to perform FEA (finite element analysis) aiding by PTC Creo/ Pro-E and Ansys Workbench for all products for Off road division (agriculture, construction and off shore);Non-linear analysis, low-cicle fatigue, Neuber correction and correlation from analysis and test bench results (strain data collection);Meaningful participation on ESSS Convergence & Ansys Users Meetings since 2015 to 2017, with a special participation presenting papers. Durability calculation for bevel set, bearings and cylindrical gears (methods C/P and ISO/TS16281) axles deflection;Gear/ Tooth development;

Responsible to perform FEA (finite element analysis) aiding by PTC Creo/ Pro-E and Ansys

Sales, product and application engineer for planetary gearboxes, couplings, torque limiters and racks and pinions systems;Customer visits to development the solution for their applications;Maintenance for planetary gearboxes;Translation of Wittesntein Alpha catalogue and Cymex program from English to Portuguese;Quote proposal elaboration, negotiation, PO and importation flow management;Organization for Fair exhibition participation (Rockwell Automation Fair 2013, Feira Internacional da Mecânica 2014).
