It was my first experience of a startup and having worked with Growing Business's at PWC (Coopers & Lybrand) it was great to be part of the journey and watch the business flourish, eventually floating in March 2000.

joined PWC (Coopers & Lybrand) from LSE on the FastTrack Chartered Accountancy programme. Eight of us were enrolled in this programme which offered us the chance to complete our Institute exams within a more condensed timeframe with ICAS - the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland. I qualified and completed my required audit training. I chose to work in the Growing Business division of Coopers & Lybrand Embankment office so that I could get a better understanding of the whole business. My clients ranged from a book publisher, flight simulator specialist, copper mining business to a film studio and hotel spa. I transferred to Corporate Finance working in M&A, AIM flotations and listings.
