I was responsible for the management of ANQ and its operations.

Pioneer in the promotion of quality management in India since 1982. Set up TQMI in July 1992 to offer training and consultancy in the field of quality management. It is recognized amongst the leaders in this field in India. Offerings include:- Has been associated with 14 challenges of Deming Prize from India. Deming prize is probably the most prestigious in the world- Six Sigma Division covering lean six sigma green belt, black belt and Design for six sigma- Business Solutions Division covering TQM, TPM, Lean, Customer Value Management, Business Process Reengineering, New Product Development, Supplier Quality Enhancement- Standards Product Division includes quality management, environment management, safety management etc.- Over 27 years has worked with over 1200 organizations and trained tens of thousands people and completed thousands of projects

Elected as President on June 23, at the triennial meeting of IAQ Academicians at Budapest, Hungary for the next triennial 2012 to 2014.Was responsible for the operation of the IAQ in fulfilling its purpose of developing new concepts and methods of quality management to contribute to the improvement of quality in various fields with a focus on education, healthcare, environment, products and services around the world.

Promotion of quality movement in the country in the wake of deregulation and economic liberalization to improve quality, productivity and customer focus.Established TQM Division with membership of industry with 23 members that grew rapidly.Obtained the involvement of many international organizations from the arena of quality for promotion of quality in India. Established a close working relationship with Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers (JUSE). I took three TQM Study Missions to Japan for the CEO's of Indian companies. It provided the impetus to quality movement in India.Similar missions were taken to USA.I was the only non Government member of the Task Force set up by the GOI to establish a system for Quality, Standardization and Conformity Assessment for India. This report resulted in the formation of Quality Council of India (QCI).

Responsible for entire operation of the company, manufacturing machine tools reporting to the Board of the company. Also had a foundry and a rolling millDeveloped systems approach to management realizing customer delight and substantial business gains.

Responsible for all technical aspects of the company including plant management and expansion including purchasing, accounts, quality and customer service.Achieved substantial improvement in quality and productivity while reducing cost through exceptional employee involvement.

Responsible for setting up green field graphite electrode manufacturing plant. Achieved rated quality and productivity norms at the plant within one month of plant commissioning. It was a remarkable achievement. It was possible through the use of systems approach to management.

Responsible for brown field project for expansion of dry battery facility. Later responsible for engineering function including maintenance.

Involved in establishing a project particularly automation for dry battery facility in India. Subsequently involved in vendor development
