I led a vendor development team based in China, evolving and extending a library of existing tools to support the Operating Systems Group which is comprised of several product teams that were formerly separate groups with different tooling and practices. The challenges of working with a remote team, moving legacy code forward and supporting the convergence of a massive engineering system while driving for agility and quality are numerous and substantial.
