I am in my fourth year as a nursing student at St. Lawrence College BScN program in affiliation with Laurentian University. I have clinical experience at Providence Care hospital and Kingston General hospital. Additionally, I have gained PSW experience with VHA Ottawa as well as Providence Transitional Care Center. I've developed some basic nursing skills such as assisting clients in activities of daily living. Currently through clinical, I am developing a number of intermediate skills that include; medication administration (including injections and hanging IVs), oxygen administration, enteral therapy, wound care, and urinary catheterization.I am looking to gain more experience in the healthcare field, and to continue building my foundational nursing skills.
