Oversees development, implementation and maintenance of district-wide instructional software systems and business intelligence tools for a Pre-K - 12 public charter school serving more than 78,000 students in 143 schools throughout Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Ohio. My role includes delegating and coordinating development efforts of internal and contracted staff, evaluating both junior and senior employees, setting/monitoring performance goals, establishing long-term relationships with remote third-party developers/contractors and managing all aspects of the project management life-cycle. Key Achievements:Managed a multi-faceted, $2.1 M Race-To-The-Top District (RTT-D) analytics project which focused on leveraging historical assessment, student performance, and Individualized Learning data to determine learning pathways, provide recommendations for student intervention grouping, and predict student STAAR performance based on statistical methods. Other custom projects aligned to the RTT-D project include :Kiosk - A platform for managing Individualized Learning lab software and monitoring student application interaction to maximize time-on-task.Teacher Career Pathway – An analytics-based recognition/incentives program for instruction staff providing interfaces for the management of measures, approval workflows, integrated feedback, and teacher dashboards.Direct Instruction (DI) Online – A custom solution based on the National Institute for Direct Instruction (NIFDI) teaching methodology used by K-3rd classrooms providing scheduling, grade capture, approval workflows, custom work package reporting, dashboard reporting, and integration with the student information system (SIS). Business Intelligence (Data Warehouse and Dashboard Development) - Custom dashboards built on HTML5 and JavaScript encompassing operational and instructional data powered by an internally designed SQL data warehouse.
