As such, this role is responsible for driving multiple service enhancements and internal development projects; leveraging the globally distributed team of GE employees and contractors and ensuring the Commercial Solutions team has a solid plan for future growth and remediation of obsolescent technology. Concurrently manage all aspects of one or more projects of varying size and complexity from initiation through closure using HTS standards and practices. Champion continuous process improvement and documentation to strengthen PMO principles.● Lead highly complex, multi-team technical refresh projects such as those focused on data center migrations/closures and updating outdated Cisco terminating hardware at over 50 hospitals and doctors’ offices; as well as infrastructure projects to integrate more robust Network and Mass Storage assets. These encompassed a combination of physical and virtual infrastructure as well as customer-dedicated assets. o Additional challenges and complexities centered around aspects such as: the integration of 3rd party applications; coordinating the scheduling due to the sites being hospitals/doctor's offices, many of which are 24x7; ensuring that all SOC II / Hi Trust guidelines and processes were followed throughout for protection and integrity of PHI/PII data.● Other technical refresh projects include upgrading our infrastructure F5 gear to Palo Alto network assets, Storage Refresh projects for Hitachi SAN (brocade) and Dell/EMC SAN devices as well as a massive upgrade of the older brocade assets to a newer, more robust NetApp device; migrating Data Domains and Domain Controllers along with all of our assets which are tied to security scans and user access and accounts.
