CurrentAs the Journalist and Executive Committee Member of the Tamil Cultural Society at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in 2024, this role entails overseeing the creation, development, and publication of the society's annual book, *KurinjiTamil*. This publication serves as a literary and cultural showcase, celebrating Tamil heritage, language, and identity within the university community. In this capacity, the Journalist is responsible for curating and editing content, coordinating contributions from students, faculty, and guest writers, and ensuring high standards of publication. This includes drafting articles, conducting interviews, writing features on cultural events, and designing compelling narratives that highlight Tamil traditions and values. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the executive committee and other society members to organize promotional activities, manage timelines for publishing, and oversee final design and production. This work supports the society’s mission to foster cultural pride and unity, allowing KurinjiTamil to be a meaningful and enduring representation of the Tamil community at Sabaragamuwa University.
