Program Coordinator
CurrentService the life cycle of student activities for four programs. Successfully graduating 98% of students that matriculate into the programs. Manage application process for four departmental disciplines with 85-100 students per year.Lead and participate in recruiting activities for the College of Allied Health Sciences. Recruiting efforts have increased applications by 22% and increased enrollment by 17%.Mentor students on pre-acceptance applications and advise them on how to fulfill missing requirements that meet the acceptance criteria for these programs. Inform and advise program directors and chair on all aspects of student application process and recruiting efforts.Work with accrediting agencies for three programs to ensure all student information is audited and meets regulatory agency requirements.Maintain 59 clinical affiliation agreements for placement of programmatic studentsServe as Building, Property Control and Security Coordinator for the Health Sciences Building. Work with departmental office managers on projects, repairs, and inspections in their areas within the Health Sciences Building that spans over 189,000 square feet.Serve as departmental web master ensuring each program meets Augusta Universities Marketing & Branding criteria and programmatic accrediting body regulations. Responsible for a departmental VISA card (State of Georgia Purchasing card) for essential supplies for each programs laboratory needs. Reconcile program spending, invoices, and accounting ledgers that are reported to the Augusta University’s purchasing department.Review and approve time cards submitted by departmental staff. Responsible for converting overtime into compensatory time and updating the Time Net system to accurately reflect employee time cards.Responsible for planning and coordinating; Pinning and Awards ceremony for graduating students and outstanding alumni; and the White Coat ceremony for incoming students.
