In this position I am responsible for all matters regarding quality and HSE. I am building up and aligning for the site (established 2023; pt. 32 employees) with the huge, German mother company of Heraeus - meaning creating compliance with company requirements and EU and national requirements. It requires a skill set of manoeuvring in volatile environments, creating order and to make wise prioritizations. As of September 2024 I had prepared and ensured the first ISO 9001 certification with external audit (no remarks, no deviations) for Heraeus Comvance Denmark. Also, unannounced audit by the Working Environment Authority and environmental audit by the Municipality of Broendby have resulted in no-remark reports.

Exploring in depth my interest for Chinese medicine and going in close on peoples problems, I chose to take and pay for my 2 years of education at one of only 3 certified schools in Denmark giving me access to all patients with private health insurances being under supervision of the Danish Patient Safety Authority (RAB-certification).I did successfully pass all exams in multiple topics and have treated several hundred of patients during the years with good results. Also, I have been a co-teacher at courses in Denmark and at the Faroese Islands.

I carried Alstom, primarily with employees from the Latin language areas (in particular France and with a French CEO in Denmark), through the COVID-19 crisis within all HSE-related questions on board and on track/service facilities as in the Headquarters with 128 employees. This meant being a part of the daily meetings in our 4 people crisis cell management (CEO, HR-manager, Technical director, HSE manager) group. For this group I gave daily updates and made a newsletter about the Danish rules and political prioritizations, did sourcing and distribution of COVID-19 PPE, made decisions and recommendations according to Alstom International and Nordic guidelines and also I worked on finding pragmatic and realistic solutions to questions such as office reopening, safety distances, travelling and meeting activities, office work stations, remote working and information for the entire company about measures and behaviour. Next to COVID-19 all other HSE business continued such as incident reporting and analysis, supplier evaluations and not least HSE Plans for ongoing and upcoming work sites spread out in Denmark – this required site visits and dialogue with suppliers of materiel and work stations such as Banedanmark, Bravida and DSB. This work demanded knowledge of the Alstom directives regarding HSE. I was staff responsible for 2 employees. Results: Alstom only had few and isolated cases of suspicion of COVID-19 and could operate through the entire crisis keeping activities running on critical projects. Other HSE-tasks were handled so no compromise was made regarding Alstom and Danish regulations. The tasks were solved in a multicultural context and despite me being the 4th person in this position in 1,5 year, with many tasks unsolved and awaiting with the expanding and restructuring Alstom having focus on growth and winning contracts.

From former positions as director/manager and consultant, I am used at travelling and staying out for several days in a row, but I prefer opportunities within reasonable commuting distance.

I was responsible for 1600 people globally and "Kvalitets- og Miljøchef" for the Danish sites and immediately started bringing order to the Danish sites and solving plenty of outstanding issues in this newly erected position such as registration of working incidents, waste handling, dispensations and measureability/KPI's. I aligned and ensured global and local compliance with national legislation and company guidelines (regarding US, China, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Denmark).I delivered governance, system orientation, tools, processes and strict compliance.I was responsible for all quality issues at the Danish sites incl. complaint handling, follow ups, customer contact, quality chain issues, incident management. I did HSE-/KPI-reporting for Danish sites and was responsible for certifications:ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007. I managed to get a no-remark external audit of our factory in November 2018 in Jutland with regards to OHSAS 18001. The daily work was a combination of concrete HSEQ-problems and challenges, as well as maintaining a "helicopter-perspective" on issues, including generalizations and learnings for all sites. I did supplier HSE evaluations , and ensured identification and mitigation of risks/risk management. This included fire safety, REACH, RoHS, AMO-organizations, APV, APB etc. I re-established a firm incident handling in Denmark; reporting, follow up etc. My work was a combination of management and concrete knowledge of issues translated to workable and business-oriented solutions.Jupiter Bach is world leader with 30-50 % of the market for spinners and nacelles ("nose" and "gearhub") for windmill producers such as Vestas and Siemens; the industry is about composites.

Two people had left the position due to stress, I took over and established order and solved issues internally and with the Working Environment Authorities.I was a part of the leadership team at the production site and responsible for the 100 employees in all matters of HSE and am running our ISO 14001:2015 and part of our ISO 9001:2015. I was responsible for all compliance within environment, working environment and energy – including EU and UK and US group guidelines. Here are examples of tasks: - Leading all handling of environmental goals, anchoring in the organization, as well as all environmental compliance- daily participation in all DLA-meetings of departments with discussion about incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions etc. including root analysis and working out action plans- instructing in and teaching employees about working environment and safety issues- risk assessments, APV, APB, SDS, labeling- monthly reporting to Meggitt UK on HSE issues- following up on site KPI´s and group KPI’s- following up regularly on employees thoughts on safety and working environment thoughts- communicating at DLA-meetings, all-hands meetings and management meetings about HSE issues- solving all kinds of problems here and now as well on a longer term; technical measurements, consultants, (e.g. indoors climate, dissolved organic solvents), first aid installations, fire security, waste handling etc.- handling all REACH, RoHS and conflict minerals questions regarding the site- safety checks on installations (by craftsmen), following up on any incident reported by technical installations- daily manager for our AMO-organization and management representative in my own “working environment group”, topics in our AMO-organization are multiple, such as courses, sanitary questions etc - really about a lot of things.
