Its PSD2 compliant technology platform enables banks to issue white label mobile payments products to their private and merchant customers. Its platform was later merged into Vipps in Norway. The platform is marketed as Settle (settle.eu) outside of Norway.

Canadian TappedInto (Later Streamlogics -> Thomson Reuters) was a pioneer in webcasting and streaming video. The Norwegian musicians Ottar "Big Hand" Johansen, Steinar "Casino Steel" Groven and Jeff Wasserman acquired the rights for Scandinavia, and launched various web casting and streaming services in Norway. Videorado was a "music video on demand" offering at NextGenTel, and the company launched music services comparable to Wimp and Spotify many years before these companies made it to the mass-market. TappedInto was simply way ahead of the market infrastructure at the time. A great experience, but they ran out of money.

M & A in the Norwegian SMB market with focus on IT companies

Birdstep developed Mobile IP client software (the SW that makes it possible to roam seamlessly between several hot-spots), hot-spot server solutions and small footprint databases. I founded the U.S. company in San Jose, CA April 2000, initiated an acquisition of an U.S. competitor based in Seattle and merged the companies; negotiated and managed many of their high-end partner alliances such as Cisco (BIRD was the first Norwegian company with Cisco Ecosystem partner status); and closed their first deals outside Norway.

I've spent nearly 13 years with Unisys Corporation. Working out of Oslo for 7 years and San Jose, CA for 6 years. My career included sales positions, product management, channel marketing and alliance management. Key alliance partners that I was responsible for included Microsoft Corp. and BEA Systems.
