I am driven to help scale up the biochar and carbon removal industry as quickly, equitably, and efficiently as possible.I lead the PYREG Climate Finance Solution (PCFS) team, which uses climate finance to bridge the financing gap for small and medium-sized biochar project developers. We provide end-to-end support for issuing, delivering, and selling biochar carbon removal credits. We aim to set the highest industry standard for carbon removal and help as many companies as possible benefit from biochar.My previous experience includes over 8 years in advisory roles at Trio and Guidehouse, focusing on renewable energy procurement, decarbonization of heavy industry, and natural gas networks. In addition to my work at PYREG, I collaborate with Rockstart as a cleantech start-up mentor. Over the past four years, I have mentored seven start-ups in biochar, energy storage, hydrogen safety and compression, and e-mobility as part of various accelerator programs.
