My research still focusses on topics in finite geometry. During this fellowship, I will investigate in detail algebraic techniques to study direction problems in affine and projective spaces. The final aim to obtain new results on substructures of polar spaces applying the results in affine and projective spaces.

My research focusses on topics in finite geometry. Finite Geometry is a field of mathematics. In finite geometry, geometrical structures with a finite number of objects are studied. Combinatorial, algebraic and group theoretic techniques are used. Finite geometry has applications in coding theory (the theory of error detecting and correcting codes used for transmission of data), and cryptography.
