Special education has evolved tremendously in the last several decades which has created a need for professionals who can provide specific services to students in the classroom.Fortunately, I found my niche in supporting students with disabilities in a general education classroom setting. I pride myself in being organized, dependable, and supportive and I find these qualities to be especially helpful in both my personal and professional life. When I am not at work, I am balancing life with three children, sports practices, and continuing my education. I also volunteer my time after school in a mentorship program for children in military-connected families. I hold a special place in my heart for children who may have one or both parents away from home on deployments and trainings because of my own personal experiences. My husband is a United States Veteran who served 20+ years in the United States Air Force, therefore my own three children have been affected by deployments. As an integral part of today's education system, especially the special education system I am dedicated to providing the best support and promoting positive relationships with students, teachers, and administrators.
