Conducted Phase I public involvement (including meeting presentations, deliverable development, and interest party research) for the following projects:- IDOT Eastern Bypass - Proposed Study of new highway connecting I-74 with IL-6- River Forest, Oak Park and Forest Park, Illinois - Harlem Avenue Underpass Project - Reconstruction of the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge over Harlem Avenue- IDOT Illinois 47 Improvement - Kennedy Road in Yorkville to Cross Street in Sugar Grove - Conduct Phase I public involvement activities

- Oversaw the development of a new Village website that was made public in August 2008.- Completed the approval process for the 25th and Lawrence TIF and transit oriented development.- Conducted zoning regulation and review for the acquisition of building permits and variances.- Provided residents, developers, and contractors with technical information and zoning clarification.- Coordinated the review and installation of substantial village landscaping projects.- Participated in a number of Village board meetings to approve development plans and variances.

Chicago Transportation Authority Ridership Study: Worked with fellow research interns to conduct field work research using ridership surveys to identify ridership patterns and isolate areas in need of improvement.

- Created cohesive zoning codes for various municipalities to improve usability.- Developed 3-D renderings presented to clientele as part of the request for proposal process.

- Researched and published articles pertaining to current national planning topics.- Administered the distribution of annual congress publications to organization members.
