Current• Designing of Structural Steel industrial buildings ranging from heavy Body Shops and Warehouses to light offloading canopies. Including steel gantries and bridges for automotive purposes. • Design of Structural Concrete retaining walls and foundation systems (conventional pad footings and pile foundations). Design of suspended concrete floors.• Drafting and preparing of construction drawings for all the buildings I designed.• The majority of my time at ViKO up to date was spent on the R2Bn upgrade of the Ford Motor Company Silverton Plant as a design engineer. • Assist with tender documents and evaluations.• Assist with site inspections.• Attend site meetings.• Writing of reports.• Conduct and prepare reports for structural audits of multiple buildings.
