Alejandro Garza is a professional trumpeter, educator, and marketing specialist. As a trumpeter with sixteen years of experience, he has performed with ensembles such as The Accent Band and the Houston Symphonic Band, and has also performed with musicians such as Jon Faddis (Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band, Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All-Stars Big Band) Larry Slezak, Andre Hayward (Duke Ellington Big Band, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra), and Mic Gillette (Tower of Power). As a marketer, he worked with the Axiom Quartet, one of Houston's premier chamber ensembles, by optimizing their social media, organizing season campaigns, email campaigns, sending out press releases, website optimization, and graphic design. Alejandro has gotten their concerts featured in publications such as the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Press.Alejandro holds Bachelor's degrees from the University of St. Thomas in Marketing and in Music Performance-Trumpet, and a Master’s of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Business from the University of St. Thomas.
