About Jane A. Perry

It's a shared experience in the world of management to find yourself feeling hesitant or uncertain about how best to lead at times. All too often, amazing leaders can feel indecisive or find themselves looking to other professionals to set the tone. That's how having a fantastic coach can really support you! I work with Fortune 500 and Global 500 leaders to gain clarity about your own individual values so you can engage your culture with authenticity and confidence. My clients say I'm relaxed, focused, and easy-going and that the questions I ask are powerful. I receive frequent feedback from clients about how confident, calm, and decisive they feel, and how coaching has really taken their leadership to the next level!Over the past decade, I've had the privilege to work with some amazing clients from organizations including Boeing, Medtronic, Chick-fil-A, US Army Rangers, Cisco, Simmons University Boston, MIT, International Coach Federation, Waypoint Foods, Keller Williams, and Suffolk University Law. Additionally, I've worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, pastors, coaches, and small business owners.

  • Jane Perry Coaching
    Executive Coach And Trainer
Jane Perry Coaching Jan 2009 - Present
    Local And International
When I began coaching, I quickly realized a common theme - companies and universities do a great job equipping people in their areas of expertise. But while my clients feel comfortable with the level of *industry knowledge* they have, they don't always feel as confident in their ability to navigate tough interpersonal situations. Questions like...Why am I constantly comparing myself to others? Why can't I shake the "imposter syndrome" that keeps nagging me? Now that I've been promoted, how can I trust that I'm making the right decisions? What's the difference between being direct and being too harsh? How do I increase communication on my team? How can I become a master of comfortably giving and receiving feedback? What's the right decision to make in this circumstance? These are just a few of the questions that talented, high-achievers are asking. I work with amazing leaders every day to create incredible results for themselves, their teams, and their organizations. I trust that my clients have the answers (or that they can get them!) to questions that they encounter on a day-to-day basis. I mention this casually, but I mean it: If you're thinking about how having this kind of support would really benefit you, just reach out! I'm happy to connect with you and hear about what kinds of things are important to you right now.
  • Simmons University
    Personal Coach
    Simmons University 2021 - Present
    Boston, Massachusetts
I was offered the unique opportunity to take part in a pilot study where Honors students from Simmons University applied to work with a personal coach during their spring semester. I worked with an AMAZING young woman in 2021, who met every single goal she set for herself... and more! The program was a success and I was invited back in 2022 and worked with a brilliant young woman who spent the semester getting clear on her future goals, ultimately setting her course on dual-major medical research. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to partner with students each spring.
  • Renaissance Works, Inc.
    The Coaching Academy Senior Trainer
Renaissance Works, Inc. May 2011 - Present
    United States
Of all the ways I get to interact with incredible people, teaching others how to coach is my absolute favorite! I work with a small boutique organization, Renaissance Works, to create and deliver world-class coach training. Typically this takes the form of a five-month process called The Leadership Coaching Academy. I work with my team to deliver industry-specialized content via two on-site weekends, group and individual coaching, and extensive learning modules to key leaders from across the country. We train in accordance with International Coach Federation Core Competencies. Additionally, I work directly with organizations and operating units to craft personalized coaching intensives that meet the unique needs of your team or business. Topics have included: The Essentials of Coaching, The Art of Giving and Receiving Feedback, and Coaching for Managers. These workshop-style intensives can range from one to five days. Send me a message if you are looking for something like this for your company!
  • Reinvent Ministries
    Senior Coach And Leadership Team
    Reinvent Ministries Jan 2009 - Jul 2021
    Nationally
Working with Reinvent provided me with the enviable opportunity to coach hundreds of people who were deeply committed to creating change in their lives. As a small firm based in Southern California, our trainers traveled across the United States to offer experiential transformational workshops. My role as the Team Coach was to lead groups of 10-15 people through a process to successfully produce a training, with a full complement of participants, in their region. Additionally, as a member of the four-person Lead Team, I was responsible for team development, critical decision making, business forecasting, branding, designing and leading interactive webinars for up to 150 participants, and ensuring the highest quality of relational equity with stakeholders.
  • Dover Children'S Home
    Residential Supervisor
    Dover Children'S Home 1995 - Mar 2009
    New Hampshire
The Dover Children's Home is a residential facility in my hometown that provides safe housing and stability to abused, neglected, and delinquent adolescents. My role was to provide life coaching and counseling in crisis situations and to support residents in short and long-term planning for success in life and academics. During each 9-12 hour shift, I confidently managed a team of 3-4 staff and interns in a high-intensity, chaotic atmosphere. My personal commitment was to maintain a message of hope at all times and to be a champion for kids who had been labeled as difficult or unreachable.During my tenure, I collaborated with the Tanglewood Outdoor Learning Center (where I had been a Maine Trip Guide during one summer) in which all the residents would participate in a 3-day Winter Adventure during their winter break every year. For over 10 years, the residents would pack the appropriate gear, drive 3 hours north, hike (and sled) their gear one mile into the woods, and spend the weekend living in wood-stove heated cabins. They engaged in an immersive nature experience that challenged what they believed about themselves - and each other. I'm incredibly honored to have created and participated in that experience through the years and to have had the opportunity to work with such amazing kids.
