Honored to serve as Chief Medical officer for Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children's Hospital for almost nine years prior to joining the Trident Health executive team. As Chief Medical Officer my aspiration is to work with teams to design systems of care that support the work and ensure that the patients we are honored to serve receive compassionate, effective and efficient care, free of harm. I am passionate about developing leaders and working with teams to integrate joy, gratitude, meaning and purpose into all levels of health care. On a personal note, I paint, sculpt, lift heavy objects and put them down, meditate, cultivate compassion, practice Qigong, cherish time with family, friends, and Angel the “tiny puppy”. Angel is a Great Dane - she is not really so tiny.
