I am a fifth year student at the McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management where I will complete my Bachelors of Commerce in December 2023. My degree concentrates in both Marketing and International Business with background courses in Computer Science. During school semesters, I have been employed by the faculty as an IT assistant.This past summer I worked as the website coordinator for local fashion retailer Editorial Boutique . During this time, I personally built the company a PO tracking system, visual commodity tracker and began to problem-solve organization issues within the buying process. Additionally, I sourced new lines and would research and present them to management; we did end up stocking lines I suggested. I also researched search engine optimization and edited the websites metadata in order to increase traffic.My interests span from health and well-being, the outdoors and environment, all things creative, the fashion industry, sustainability and consumer behavior in the current retail landscape. With my Computer Science background I have basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, C and Bash. Working in e-commerce has familiarized me with Shopify, Lightspeed, Excel and Photoshop.
