I reinstated The John Ruskin prize after a hiatus of 5 years due to Covid. I devised and wrote the theme/ brief and supporting narratives for ‘Seeing the Unseen, Hearing the Unspoken’ and implemented key strategic changes by making it an international art prize, opening it up to more disciplines, engaging high profile judges : Cornelia Parker CBE RA, Bob and Roberta Smith OBE RA, Narinder Sagoo MBE, Julian Stair OBE, Gary Hill (USA), Rachel Dickinson who I judged alongside. The 6th John Ruskin, increased performance in 2024 by 322% by attracting over 4000 submissions from 35 countries. Previous years the increase year on year was 14% . I curated the show which was held at Trinity Buoy Wharf. The show received critical acclaim and was listed in the top 10 things to see in London.
