Editorial Associate
Current- Act as liaison with manuscript reviewers, editors, editorial board, and authors to maintain article review procedure and keep editorial decision process on schedule
- Use Editorial Manager and Microsoft Office to prepare manuscripts, illustrations, and front matter for submission to the Press
- Create and update office manuals to ensure best practices
- Coordinate the process of obtaining book reviews, from review commission through manuscript submission
- Maintain smooth operation of campus office and its efficient interaction with Press Journals Division, including supervision of Book Review Assistant and Editorial Intern
- Compile information needed for editorial meetings and for editors’ reports at the annual American Historical Association meetings
