Following the success of the roll out in Southampton, this has now been extended to several departments.TM1 P&L Automation - Prior to commencing my role, preparing the P&L accounts for Saga Cruises was a very manual, laborious and time-consuming process. Using TM1 Cognos I set up spreadsheets linking to our accounting system which now automates numbers uploading into Excel automatically.Process Streamlining - Since the company became a PLC our month-end deadlines tightened from 9 to 6 days. This triggered me to review some of our processes; calling into question some old methods which were no longer fit for purpose or outdated. Cruise Project – As part of the new Saga Cruise Ship I was a key player in ensuring the successful delivery of a new IT system on board. This involved a few days sailing on one of the ships to ensure reporting was fully integrated with our accounting system.
