CurrentTaber and District Community Adult Learning Association (TDCALA) is a not for profit association providing a community learning program, adult and family literacy, language and workplace essential skills, training for business and industry, English as a Second Language programs, resume services, seniors and health support programs. Responsible for planning, budgeting, reporting, fund development, program development, board development as well as operations and human resources. Responsible for hiring , training and staff development for 24 staff.Founded the following organizations underneath the umbrella of TDCALA, LCC Taber Campus in 1987, the Taber Literacy Program in 1987, English Language Learning program since 1985, the Community Access Program in 1997, the Career Resource Centre in 1998, and the ELL Drop In Centre in 2007 and Citizenship Services in 2011Developed strategic and operational plans, policy and procedures and evaluation processes.
