After 18 months, I gained promotion to the Chemistry Department, as Undergraduate Admissions & Examinations Secretary. In 2001, I re-joined as Research Secretary in the Computing Department, before leaving to work in local academia. For two years in the mid-late 1990s, I also worked part-time in the retail sector, selling heritage giftware. Previously I worked in healthcare, banking, commerce & civil service.
