As a Landscape Designer I was fortunate enough to witness a clients outdoor area going from dirt rubble to a luscious and family friendly atmosphere. The end result can not be explained, it is simply the delight on the clients face when they walk through their back garden, exactly the way they envisioned.Livable Architecture’s grand vision is to offer innovative and sustainable design elements. To create a personal vision through the finesse of perfectly aligned objectives to enhance our client’s experience when beginning their outdoor transformation.Responsibilities and skills developed: • Designing landscapes for clients, including hardscape and softscape through hand drawn sketches or Computer Aided Software. These include but not limiting too; site plan, elevations, 2D planting plan, landscape masterplan and lastly 3D rendered views.• Visiting clients and accompanying other team members on consultations to measure up site and outline a concept plan.• Submission of any necessary plans, ensuring the content aligns with local building codes and government regulations. Liaising with engineers and certifiers through this process.• Revising tenders with managers and researching future proposals.• Researching sustainable features within the landscape and implementing where necessary.• Creating a 500+ plant database with plant details on spacing, climate and accompany plants.• Preparing a business plan for Livable Architecture, including the strategy and marketing plans.

My love for jewelry has been an evolving passion through out my years of education and travel. Being a sales assistant at a worldly recognised jewelry company has taught me many aspects of customer service. My travel and life experiences have been reflected within the jewelery I purchased and have fundamentally changed my perception at life. Responsibilities and skills developed:• Proficient in end of day, handling money.• Assisting with Visual Merchandising for the store and upcoming promotions.• Training new staff members on floor and relevant procedures.• Gained conflict resolutions and negotiations skills when handling complaints. • Over the phone communication skills, with the transportation of stock to and from a company owned store.• Assisting with store Facebook marketing.

Whilst undertaking my studies at Griffith University, I was lucky enough to undertake a 4 month internship through Logan City Council. I was incredibly fortunate to be shown the inside processes of undertaking development applications, also but not forgetting; assisting engineers on site to run through new and upcoming developments.Responsibilities and skills developed:• Assessing development applications.• Contacting customers with feedback in regards to effective planning schemes.• Proficient in reading planning schemes, preferably Logan Planning Scheme but not excluding Beaudesert and Gold Coast City Council.• Checking BWAP (Building Works and Approval) Applications from clients, ensuring that they comply with the related planning scheme.• Worked with an array of Council sectors, Plumbing, Engineering and front counter assistance.• Understanding soil boxes and problematic issues that arise from site visits.

Responsibilities and skills developed:• Setting up promotion’s and advertisements for the next days sale.• In control of TCF (Cosmetic keys), access to all cabinets and the storage room.• Maintaining a store phone for customer calls and enquiries.• Gained conflict resolutions and negotiations skills when handling with complaints.
