MVF awards scholarships to assist young people in the City of Moonee Valley. The grant money is to be used to achieve excellence in education, training, or in personal endeavours that will ultimately be beneficial to the Moonee Valley community.

Women in Media (WiM) is a nationwide networking and mentoring initiative to support and nurture women working in all facets of the media – from journalism and media advising to public relations and corporate affairs. Through the influence and backing of MEAA members, Women in Media aims to improve the working lives of women in the industry. WiM Vic runs events and a mentoring program for Women in Media living in Victoria.

As production editor and head of the sub-editing team at The Weekly Review – the glossy lifestyle magazine arm of Domain in Melbourne – I took pride in producing a quality publication that is welcomed in 117,000 homes each week. Helped launch the Geelong edition in 2012 and headed up the production side of the annual Independent Schools Guide.As well as producing the print edition, TWR developed an online, facebook, YouTube and Instagram presence during this time, to which I contributed. The role also involved co-ordinating with other departments, including advertising, photographic, design, marketing, and the leadership team.

Produced second edition of the group's book, Plants of Melbourne's Western Plains: A Gardener's Guide. Book published in 2012 and used as a key reference for many local municipalities and landcare groups.
