1. TRANSLATION & WRITING: Collected and read information mainly in English then wrote news articles in Chinese and translated what the interviewees said to Chinese. Often in charge of news in Korean and/or related to North and South Koreas too due to my experience of studying in Seoul for a year.2. NARRATION & VIDEO EDITING: Narrated the news stories and used Avid Media Composer to edit videos. Each daily news video was usually around 2 minutes while an in-depth coverage was 6 to 8 minutes. 3. REPORTING LIVE: Collected latest information, organized it, then gave the audience updates on important events such as the war between Ukraine and Russia.4. INTERVIEW: Did an exclusive interview with NASA engineer Allen Chen, who was the Entry, Descent, and Landing (EDL) lead for Mars 2020 project via Skype. Then translated the 40-minute-long interview from English to Chinese.5. TIME MANAGEMENT: Able to finish work in limited time. After being assigned the topic in charge, wrote and edited one news video in 3 to 4 hours. 6. ATTENTION TO DETAILS: Made sure the information provided in the news was accurate.
