Personal success as a self-employed interior decorator led to requests for me to design and deliver training within my community. Although I found a lot of satisfaction in this niche, I wanted to gain better skills in facilitating learning in others. I entered into an advanced degree program and, this has led so far to three advanced degrees. My goal is to apply these skills with my business talent to create a program that can enhance learning within compartmentalized communities. By use of a technology based train-the-trainers programs where parents can assist their children in setting educational goals, parents will learn to find useful information, to triangulate the information to qualify what information is useful, and to facilitate the learning goals of their children.Specialties: John Dewey astutely noted, "We never educate directly, but indirectly by means of the environment; “whether we permit chance environments to do the work, or whether we design environments for the purpose makes a great difference”My specialty is in getting learners to do what they need to do to construct the foundational knowledge base they need to meet their individual needs.
