With over 25 years of experience in secondary education, I am passionate about empowering students and teachers. As the Year 8 girls’ Coordinator at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College, I oversee the wellbeing, academic, pastoral, and spiritual development of over 130 students and support the professional learning of staff members. I also teach English, Humanities, and Religious Education, using innovative and engaging pedagogies to foster critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity. I have a Bachelor of Education, a Diploma of Teaching, and a Graduate Certificate of Religious Education, which equip me with the knowledge and skills to design and deliver effective and inclusive curricula that align with the Catholic ethos and values. I am always eager to learn new wellbeing and teaching techniques and collaborate with others to improve the quality and outcomes of education. I also enjoy opportunities to share expertise and insights amongst a wider community of educators and learners who are committed to excellence, diversity, and social justice.
