I help establish the Young Professionals Network in Victoria and Tasmania. With the help of a committee, we have run three successful networking events and have successfully planned four technical seminar series in FY13/FY14. Key responsibilities include organising Committee meetings, networking events and technical seminars for over 100 attendees. Reporting directly to the Partners of the firm, I am responsible for managing both graduates and accountants to ensure budgets and deadlines are effectively and efficiently met. As a member of the Recovery and Reorganisation team, I work on formal insolvency appointments, prepare and write numerous reports for financial institutions and work extensively on Property related appointments. This includes the completion of multiple building developments for financial institutions. I have also been seconded to the Sydney office for a period of 6 months in 2012. Key appointments:• Reviews: Investigating Accountants, Monitoring, Pre-lending and Refinancing.• Receivers and Managers Appointments: Completion of property developments and operating Hotels (Licensed premises).• Agents for the Mortgagee in Possession Appointments: Completion of property developments and sales campaigns.• Administration and Deed Administration: Major Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed oil and gold mining companies. Key Responsibilities and Skills:• Historical and forecast financial analysis;• Project management skills to ensure appointments meet key budgetary and timeline deadlines; • Liaise and communicate with multiple external stakeholders, clients and management • Prepare reports for external clients including sensitivity analysis and risk minimization strategies;• Mentor junior staff;• Conduct internal training sessions;• Prepare precedents, templates and tools for different appointments; and• Attended to the day to day management of the license premises including employees’ wages, rostering, stock maintenance staff meetings and events.

As part of the Finance team, I was responsible for managing the AU$32million asset listing and preparing monthly account reconciliations, cash flow forecasts. Additional responsibilities included aiding with the month end close out process and preparing half yearly and annual financial reports.
