Conducting an experiment to study the effects of bentonite clay and turbidity on copepod populations. Raising and determining optimal conditions for fairy shrimp to include in future experimentation. Help to run experiments in Guinea Worm systems and potential alternative transmission pathways. Mentored by Ph.D. candidate Nadia Raytelis and Dr. David Civitello in the Civitello Lab.

Manage a team of 10 Emory students on consulting projects for a Boston-based electric vehicle startup. Managing projects to develop a framework for potential community and stakeholder partnerships and to outline relevant grants and obtain the necessary materials for over $1 million in grant applications.

Consult for an external business partner on a sustainability related project and conducting SWOT analyses of the services offered by the company.

Support and sit in on scientific workshops discussing interdisciplinary scientific topics focused on the advancement of scientific discovery. Work directly with scientists to write articles for Telluride Science “Town Talks” to be published in the local newspaper. Work on projects to promote an understanding of Telluride Science’s objectives.

Collaborate with over 30 other Emory Residence Life Staff members to create a positive and welcoming environment in the residence hall. Help over 300 first year residents with their transition to college.

Led camp groups of 10 to 20 campers, worked with children aged 12-14. Instructed on ecology topics and prepared campers to work with younger campers, aged 4 to 7.

Worked with young athletes to develop their climbing skills. Coached athletes at local, regional, and national competitions.
