Born and raised in Glasgow. At 17 moved to Aberdeen to start art school . I graduated in 1993 from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen with a BA (Hons) degree in jewellery design and manufacture. I have always been inspired by the combination of structural manmade linear and geometric shapes combined with the organic and more fluid . I have 30years experience in jewellery design having worked in the creative industry since I graduated - my work is a combination of bespoke design in all precious metals and gemstones or smaller silver pieces . All budgets covered. Valuations. Hand-drawn design service. Stones to view on request. My pieces also bear my own hallmark from the Edinburgh assay office. I have worked in manufacturing positions and bespoke one-off environments, management and staff training. I have studied with Gem-A towards my gemmology qualification. I am also a voluntary student mentor for MCR Pathways which I love. Since being made redundant due to covid I have now grasped the opportunity to take on private commissions and work independently whilst keeping long standing connections.
