I am passionate about education, especially making a positive difference in the learning and lives of all learners - no matter their strengths and learning styles. Mentoring teachers to strengthen the skill base of all educators is a specific interest as is innovating to ensure there is challenge, rigour and strength in all that we do in schools and classrooms. As the leader of a school working to maximise the benefits of our e-learning environment - I firmly believe that learning opportunities outside the classroom should continue provide a opportunity for genuine challenge and achievement. The arts, physical challenge, science, outdoor education and environmental must remain priorities in our curriculum (albeit in an integrated context) if we are to help all children find their strengths.Student voice, genuine student-led learning and an authentic learning curriculum that reflects the local environment and wishes of the community is instrumental in making a difference to learning and lives.
