Director Of Community Relations
CurrentResponsible for managing the organization’s census by maintaining accounts with hospitals, physicians, community organizations and other healthcare agencies which generate patient referrals and admissions. Hire and manage sales and admissions team for all locations and services. Work on opportunities to get leads and follow up on those leads in order to close and increase census. Represent the organization at expo/trade shows, business events and participation in industry related board positions and committees to encourage referrals. Develop strategies to maximize admissions including contact with potential referral sources and prospective residents/patients. Responsible for driving revenue growth in assisted living, independent living, memory care and related services through effective sales strategies, management of leads and closings. Manage the sales process by assisting prospective residents, their family members and advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about the services and programs. Organize and carry out events to bring traffic to the different locations and cultivate relations with local communities. Work with public relations, social media, website and graphic department personnel to order and create marketing collaterals, an array of print/electronic communications, social media posts/ads and press releases.Conduct tours for potential customers in long term care, short term rehabilitation, independent and assisted living.
