My own journey to becoming the healthier and happier version of myself that I am today has had its ups and downs and I know from experience that making better choices isn’t always easy but my can-do attitude and determination coupled with my tried and tested methods will get you on your journey.Fast forward to now and I have completed 6 London Marathons in under four hours and I am the current European long distance triathlon champion in my age group.My awareness and understanding of the importance of balancing my training, eating and most importantly sleep and rest has come a long way over the years and it is these experiences and knowledge coupled with my academic studies that make me your perfect role model to work with.

Joining the Compass for life navigator team last year has been instrumental in expanding my own skills, knowledge and confidence whilst introducing me to new and exciting environments including the British Army.Taking my personal values and non-negotiable behaviours from Healthier Happier You I have expanded the audience I am able to reach by working with this amazing team of world leaders and influential changers.

I am excited to be working with Premier as their Partnership Manager, this role will give me the opportunity to tell the sector about the solutions we have across the business which will support the challenges being faced in the Sport, Performing Arts and education sector.

As the National Governing Body for cricket my role includes line management of six managers, developing growth strategies including leading on the cross company South Asian engagement programme and building and maintaining relationships from a cross range of sectors including commercial, media, third sector, voluntary groups and education. Application for funding and budget management of up to £1million from the Equality and Human Rights Commission, vInspired and Sport England. To enable growth in the sport a sustainable structure of volunteer co-ordinators at a regional, county and club level has been developed including a training, recruitment and reward programme, culminating in the annual awards ceremony at Lords for over 400 people.

Working in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders to promote sport and physical activity in the region (Sports Coach UK, National Skills Academy, Skills Active, Volunteering England, National Governing Bodies, County Sports Partnerships, Regional Development Agency, Local Authorities) I led on the area of workforce development (including coaches, officials, volunteers and professional staff).
