Who loves working with children and families? I do! I am the Principal Speech Pathologist at VersaLearn and I have worked with children and families with speech, language and communication difficulties for over twenty-five years. I am privileged to lead a team of creative and dedicated speech pathologists and we constantly strive to deliver evidence-based, family-focused care to children and support them to reach their communication potential.I believe that it takes a team to support a child, so we work in close collaboration with parents, educators and other allied health providers. We have a strong focus on parent coaching and our speech pathologists constantly update their professional learning to reflect best practice.We have taken our knowledge and shared it! Our team is involved in the development and implementation of a range of speech, language and communication programs for primary schools. I developed the Speech Therapy Assistant program which is now implemented in hundreds of schools across Victoria. We are strong and passionate advocates for appropriate and specific support for children in the classroom.We offer an exceptional graduate program for new/early career speech pathologists.
