In my private practice I am honored to work as a therapist with over 20 years of experience assisting people struggling with a variety of life's challenges. Although I treat a variety of issues, I find treating survivors of various types of trauma most rewarding. I have acquired additional training and experience in the use of EMDR for resolution of PTSD and Complex Trauma. I also have completed advanced training in the use of DBT for treatment of Emotional Dysregulation and Interpersonal Difficulties.

Provide individual and group counseling to college students reporting a variety of concerns such as developmental concerns, academic stress, mental illness, relationship and trauma/complex trauma. Develop and facilitate psychoeducation groups for students experiencing emotion dysregulation.Develop and deliver workshops on relevant topics to college students. Train the clinical team on the use of trauma informed practices. Created the BIPOC Committee and served on it to better understand the needs of BIPOC students. Provided grief therapy to clients recovering from death of loved one. Developed and facilitated groups for those recovering from death of a loved one.

PRN Therapist facilitating groups for Chronically Mentally Ill Patients teaching topics such as Medication Compliance, Utilization of Treatment Team for Enhanced Mental Health, Community Resources for Dealing with Mental Health Crisis, Assertiveness, etc.
