Beginning my career as a veterinarian, I'd developed an extensive understanding of food production from its origins, enhancing her future expertise in manufacturing, sourcing, and retailing.I've collaborated with both large and small enterprises in Canada and USA, including major retailers like Sobey's and Walmart. My roles have encompassed quality and safety on production floors, private brands, as well as establishing effective supplier management, global sourcing under the FSVP and PCP import programs. My recent experience includes qualification of lead auditor for certification to cGMP, SSCI, FAMI -QS, GMP+FSA standards, and multiple customer standards for food and dietary supplements.I am proud of significant contributions to the development of Canadian food regulations, policies, and standards, serving as an advisor for the Retail Council of Canada, Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters; and as a consultant for the National Cattle Feeders Association. I am renowned for the ability to simplify complex requirements into practical, actionable programs for clients.When I am not at work I am breeding, training, and showing German Boxers proudly producing beautiful American/Canadian GrandChampions, and happy and healthy companions.
