Responsible for implementing the region’s strategic plan for electric car charging points, building and managing relationships with key strategic accounts and suppliers while developing a pipeline of potential customers, and raising the profile of electric motoring.

Responsible for attracting overseas companies to set up their business in the UK, specifically in the West Midlands. Recent major success in attracting Microsoft Games Studio, Rare Ltd to the region.

Responsible for embedding strategic companies in the West Midlands region, ensuring their needs were understood at a strategic level within government, and that they understood the support the public sector could give them.

Responsible for developing and implementing market driven commercial plans for the Household, I&I and Personal Care markets, and directing the sales function to implement these plans in chosen markets.

Profit responsible for ethanolamines business, directing Europe-wide sales teams unfamiliar with products and markets.

Commercial responsibility for a variety of key accounts, culminating in the company's largest Key Account, P&G. Involved negotiating key European contracts which affected strategic investment and manufacturing decisions, building strong relationships with key personnel, and co-ordinating local sales teams and technical personnel throughout Europe.

Commercially and logistically responsible for strategically vital sales of packed products from four production sites across Europe, to home and non-European export markets through a distributor new to the business.
