In 1990, I started an On-Site Drug and Alcohol testing company in Kansas City. 25-years later, many of those original customers are still current and active clients. Prior to starting my company I was managing a medical clinic and our focus was on pre-employment physicals, work related injuries and drug and alcohol testing. I identified abuses and subsequent opportunities specifically in the area of the drug and alcohol testing process. I recognized that any time an employee leaves the work place and is unsupervised there is no incentive or urgency for the employee to return to the workplace in a timely fashion. The result is lost productivity, excess expense for the employer who is compensating the employee for their time away from the work place, and lost revenue opportunities.After speaking with many trucking companies, industrial and commercial business owners, they expressed a desire for a solution that would be more efficient and cost effective for drug and alcohol testing for their work force. They recognized the lost time, production, revenues by sending employee's off site for testing. As a result and answer to that need, EB Testing was formed for On Site Testing.The average "Off-Site" test is estimated to consume approximately 2-hours of valuable employee time. The average ON-SITE test takes approximately 6-10 minutes!EB Testing concentrates and specializes on Drug and Alcohol collection and testing.
