I bring significant experience as a Nurse Practitioner, patient advocate, and Cell Therapy Case Manager at Kite Pharma to my current role as a Senior Manager, Patient Support Services. My expertise allows me to guide a team of Cellular Therapy Case Managers, who provide exemplary service to health care providers supporting the CAR-T cell journey and its revolutionary role in the treatment of blood cancers. Through collaborative partnerships with our internal colleagues in manufacturing, logistics, field sales, and payer access; and external colleagues from hospital patient care teams our multi-talented team works to ensure we act with a sense of urgency and empathy in all that we do.My leadership priority is creating an inclusive environment (we all make this better) and inspiring growth and development on my team through stretch projects that enable them reaching their individual goals. In this role, I’ve developed and streamlined Case Manager training, collaboratively created performance measurement tools, and increased the contribution the Case Manager team to the overall success of the commercial organization’s goals in bringing CAR T to more eligible patients.Personal development is an ongoing priority, as it allows me to further grow in my role and bring ‘better’ to the leadership of my team. I’ve completed Lean Sigma White Belt, TORCH leader mentorship program, and HILS (High Intensity Leadership Skills) to that end.
